School Field Trips
Join us for a day of fun and crafts!
Come spend the day learning a new craft. School field trips are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Programs are available for students ages 5 and older. You are welcome to come for just a short trip and learn one new craft of come spend several hours here and learn a couple!
Learning about the Industrial Revolution?
Learning about how pioneers made their own supplies?
Sewing Come see our selection of antique sewing machines. Then learn to use a modern one! Students of all ages can come make a sewing project that they can take home with them at the end of the class.
Woodworking Come learn to use hammer and nails to create your own small toolbox. Learn how trees are cut into pieces of wood to make projects. Remember, we will be using paint for this project so it is recommended that the students wear old clothes. Paint shirts and aprons will be provided.
Special Crafts Perhaps you are just looking for a day of fun! Come learn a new craft that you have never done before like glass etching or knitting!
Our facility has 4 separate rooms; each one set up for a special craft. School Groups can have all the students work on just one craft or the program can be set up to let the students choose which room (craft) they would like to work with.
Fees
All teachers and chaperones are Free unless they choose to make a project with the students.
Students
$6.50 each to complete any one project * it will take about 2 hours to complete one project*
$3.50 each to complete a second project *it will take about 4 hours to complete two projects
- All students will take home the project that they complete during the field trip.
- Interested in staying longer and making more than one project? No problem, we can set up your program to work in one classroom for the first 2 hours and then have the students switch to another classroom for a second project.
