Machine Sewing In our sewing classes, we use full sized sewing machines that we bring to your school for class. Our classes can be held in a Cafeteria or a classroom. Generally, if we use a classroom, we move the desks together to form a "table". All items are returned to their original place before the completion of class. Sewing Machine Safety is taught to all students first. Classes are geared towards boys and girls in grades K-6. Classes can be specialized to include any of the following: v Beginning Sewing v Advanced Sewing v Quilting v Paper Piecing v Polar Fleece v Embroidery v Purse Pizzazz v Clothing v American Girl and Barbie Clothes All sewing machines (one for each student in the class), fabric, and supplies are provided for the cost of the class. It will be required that an electrical outlet is located nearby. Power strips and extension cords will be provided by the instructor. Class size is limited to 9 students in a class. This allows the instructor to keep a careful eye on each student as they learn how to use a full-sized sewing machine. Students keep all projects they make during the class. *It is important that the space where classes are held is handicap accessible, as all the sewing machines will be brought into the classroom on a cart.
