WOODWORKING  CLASS

 

Woodworking classes are offered during every week of Summer Camp.  Classes are available to both beginner and advanced students ages 5—14 years. Previous woodworking experience is not required.  Students will be able to choose which type of project they would like to work on and will work at their own pace to complete the projects.

The following items will be provided for all students:

*Safety Goggles

*Paint T-Shirts

*Painting Aprons

 Although paint shirts and aprons are supplied during this class,
we strongly suggest the students come in old clothes.

Beginning Woodworkers: 

Students who have never had woodowrking classes in the past will begin with learning how to how tools properly, how to sand with the grain of the wood, how to properly paint wooden projects, and how to properly glue and nail projects together

.Advanced Woodworkers: For students who have taken woodworking classes in the past, we will be adding a degree of difficulty to their projects! Students will learn how to properly cut and measure the wood into the correct size pieces.  Students will also be assisted (if they choose) with using a hand saw to cut the pieces they just measured.

 The cost for each 15-hour class is $135.00 and includes all supplies and materials needed for class.
